Job Description

Position Summary Noble Environmental is seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Maintenance to oversee all fleet and equipment operations across the organization. This executive role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, compliance, and cost-effectiveness of all company assets, including landfill equipment, heavy machinery, tractors, and refuse collection vehicles. The VP of Maintenance will lead maintenance strategies, optimize asset lifecycle management, and drive operational excellence across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive maintenance strategy for all fleet and heavy equipment assets Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize uptime and extend asset life Lead and manage regional maintenance teams, including directors, managers, and technicians Establish and monitor KPIs related to equipment performance, downtime, safety, and cost control Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including environmental and safety standards Collaborate with operations leadership to align maintenance priorities with business needs Manage vendor relationships, parts procurement, and service contracts Develop and oversee annual maintenance budgets, capital expenditures, and cost-reduction initiatives Implement and optimize fleet management systems and maintenance tracking technologies Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean maintenance practices and process standardization Support sustainability initiatives, including emissions reduction and environmentally responsible equipment practices Qualifications 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in fleet and heavy equipment maintenance, preferably in waste management, transportation, or related industries Strong knowledge of heavy equipment (e.g., landfill compactors, bulldozers, excavators), tractors, and refuse trucks Proven experience managing multi-site maintenance operations Deep understanding of regulatory compliance (DOT, OSHA, EPA standards) Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and drive organizational change Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and capital planning Experience with CMMS and fleet management software Key Competencies Strategic leadership and decision-making Operational efficiency and problem-solving Safety and compliance focus Communication and cross-functional collaboration Data-driven performance management What We Offer Competitive executive compensation package Performance-based bonuses will be negotiated Comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k) Vehicle allowance Opportunity to lead and shape maintenance operations for a growing environmental company Vice President of Maintenance (Fleet & Equipment) 2.1 2.1 out of 5 stars 635 Toby Road, Kersey, PA 15846 Full-time Noble Environmental Specialty Services 17 reviews Full-time Position Summary Noble Environmental is seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Maintenance to oversee all fleet and equipment operations across the organization.
