Clear path to Director We're working with a PE-backed, high-growth advisory firm building out its Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) platform. As part of this, they are hiring a Vice President with SALT experience to support a growing pipeline of mid-market M&A transactions . The Opportunity This is a hands-on, deal-focused role within a fast-paced TAS environment.

You'll:

Lead SALT diligence workstreams across buy-side and sell-side transactions Identify, quantify, and communicate state & local tax risks and opportunities Work closely with PE clients, corporates, and senior deal stakeholders Translate technical tax findings into commercial deal insights Support and mentor junior team members What They're Looking For 5-10 years' experience in M&A Tax with SALT focus Background in Big 4, Big Law, or top-tier advisory Strong exposure to live transaction environments Ability to own diligence workstreams end-to-end Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth setting Confident communicator with client-facing experience CPA, JD, MST, or LLM required Why This Role Join a scaling platform backed by private equity Work on high-impact, mid-market deals with real ownership Clear path to Director and beyond Entrepreneurial culture vs. traditional Big 4 structure
