Job Description

Videographer / Photographer / Social Media Manager Seat Cover Solutions | Albertville, MN (On-Site) | Full-Time, 40 hrs/week
Compensation:
$75,000-$85,000/year ———————————————————————————————————— About Seat Cover Solutions Seat Cover Solutions is one of the fastest-growing automotive accessory brands in the country. We design and sell premium seat covers direct-to-consumer and through major retail partners. Our content drives real revenue — and we're looking for someone who understands that every photo, video, and post has a job to do. ———————————————————————————————————— The Role We're hiring a hands-on creative leader to own content production and social media for the brand. You'll be behind the camera — shooting, directing, and publishing content — and you'll either handle editing yourself or manage an editor to do it at scale. You'll be a driving force in building out our editing process and content engine — establishing workflows that consistently produce a high volume of quality content. This isn't a "post and hope" role. You'll work directly with our marketing and e-commerce teams to understand what's actually driving revenue, then create content that moves the needle. ———————————————————————————————————— What You'll Do Plan, shoot, and edit short-form video content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) and photography for social, website, and ads Manage and post across all social media channels, including daily Stories and community engagement Own the editing process — either edit content yourself or bring on and manage an editor of your choice. Direct on-camera talent — whether that's our internal team or outsourced actors — set standards and hit deadlines Collaborate with the ad team to understand what creatives are performing in paid campaigns and produce more of what works Work with the website team to create product photography and lifestyle imagery that improves conversion rates Understand how our Facebook/Meta ad account works so you can create content that's optimized for paid campaigns Research trends, competitors, and platform algorithms to continuously improve creative output and stay ahead of what's working Use performance data and analytics to guide content decisions — understand what customers respond to and why Build and refine the content production process — create repeatable workflows for filming, editing, and publishing at scale Own asset management — organize all photos, videos, and raw clips into a content database so everything is cataloged and accessible for future use Be resourceful: source props, locations, people, and whatever it takes to produce standout content on a lean budget ———————————————————————————————————— What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in videography, photography, and/or social media content creation Proven short-form video results — show us content you've made that got real views and engagement Strong photography skills with an eye for creating polished brand assets Proficient in editing tools (e.g. Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, Lightroom, Photoshop) Comfortable editing content yourself and/or managing editors and freelancers to get it done Disciplined, organized, and self-motivated — you keep assets organized, follow through on assignments, and deliver on time Understanding of how content drives revenue in an e-commerce business (or strong desire to learn fast) Strong understanding of how social media algorithms work and what drives reach, engagement, and virality Comfortable with social media analytics and using data to inform creative strategy Resourceful and scrappy — you don't wait for perfect conditions, you make great content happen ———————————————————————————————————— Bonus Points Experience with e-commerce or DTC brands Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager or paid social Background in automotive, lifestyle, or product content Portfolio that shows range — product shots, lifestyle, UGC-style, and polished brand work ———————————————————————————————————— Why SCS? Join a high-growth brand where your content directly impacts the bottom line Creative freedom with real resources and support Work alongside a tight-knit, ambitious team building something big Opportunity to grow into a larger role as the brand scales ———————————————————————————————————— To Apply Send your resume, a portfolio or links to your best work, and a case study. Your case study should show us how your content made an impact — whether that's growing a brand's following, driving revenue, improving engagement, refining an editing process, or anything else that demonstrates what you'd bring to our team. We want to see results, not just reels.
