Vietnamese bilingual medical assistant/translator in office position

We are currently looking to hire a bilingual Vietnamese-English Medical Assistant or Front Desk Translator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys patient interaction, values teamwork, and is interested in gaining real-world experience in a medical setting. Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, organized, and compassionate individual to help support both our clinical and front office operations. The role focuses heavily on communication with Vietnamese or Spanish

• speaking patients and assisting with day-to-day clinic workflow.

This position is especially well-suited for students planning to apply to PA school, nursing school, or medical school , as it offers meaningful hands-on experience in a specialty practice. Key Responsibilities Serve as a Vietnamese-English translator during patient visits Assist with front desk duties, including: Scheduling appointments Answering phone calls Patient check-in and check-out Help organize and maintain patient records and office paperwork Support the clinical team with administrative and basic medical tasks as needed Maintain professionalism, empathy, and respect in all patient interactions Preferred Qualifications Fluency in Vietnamese and English (required) Medical assistant experience or certification preferred, but not required Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Clear communication skills and a positive attitude Ability to work well as part of a small, collaborative team Schedule & Compensation Clinic hours: Monday through Friday Competitive hourly pay based on experience Supportive work environment with opportunities to learn and grow High-performing team members may be eligible for a strong letter of recommendation for future PA, nursing, or medical school applications.
