Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school-based teletherapy services in Kankakee, IL. This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech-language services through telepractice platforms, supporting students' communication development remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech-language evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress monitoring via teletherapy platforms. Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with students' needs and educational goals. Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate speech-language strategies into classroom activities. Maintain accurate documentation of therapy activities and student progress in compliance with regulations. Communicate effectively with parents and school personnel regarding student development and therapy outcomes.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience providing speech-language services within school settings. Proven proficiency in delivering teletherapy services and utilizing digital communication tools. Strong understanding of educational protocols and individualized education plans (IEPs). Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Location:
