Title:
Visiting Faculty Chemistry Department/Location:
Chemistry Position Type:
Part-time Summary Teaches 24 semester hours per academic year, including both general education courses and Chemistry. Additional duties may include contributing to the campus in in scholarly ways, supporting students, supporting Principia activities, and promoting Christian Science-based character education in accord with Principia's mission as outlined in Education at The Principia.

Primary Responsibilities Teaches 24 semester hours per academic year in Chemistry Is an active character educator in accordance with Principia's mission Maintains office hours Meets with students for academic support Prepares for, teaches, and measures student learning for assigned courses within the context of Principia's philosophy of liberal arts education Additional Duties Works closely with students to further develop their thinking, writing, research, and communication skills Core Competencies Technical Skills

Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive starting salary range for this position: $50,400
  • $66,480 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
