Job Description

Summary:
The VP, General Manager oversees all aspects of a business unit, including strategic planning, financial management, team leadership, and operational efficiency, to drive growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures. Manage and coordinate activities of different departments or teams. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals. Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats. Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial stability and profitability. Monitor financial performance and identify areas for cost reduction or improvement.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of employees, providing guidance and support. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees. Recruit, hire, and train new employees.
Customer Relationship Management:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Address customer complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner.
Communication and Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with other departments and teams to achieve common goals.
Safety:
Promote a strong safety culture by encouraging employees to report hazards and participate in safety initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas related to policies and procedures and provide guidance to management and employees verbally and in writing Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision Regular and reliable attendance
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field NC HVAC Contractors License or ability to attain one Possess a valid driver's license Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Preferred Qualifications (not required): Several years of experience in a management or leadership role.
Physical Demands:
Ability to operate computer, phone and other office equipment as needed Ability to work effectively using a personal computer for long periods of time Ability to sit/stand at workstation for extended periods of time Ability to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and work Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation Indoor Premier Comfort is an equal opportunity employer.
