Job Description Position Summary The Vice President (VP), Investor Relations is responsible for leading the company's global investor relations strategy and serving as the primary liaison between the organization, the investment community, shareholders, and financial analysts. This executive will partner closely with the CEO, CFO, executive leadership team, and Board of Directors to communicate the company's financial performance, growth strategy, market positioning, and long-term value proposition. The VP of Investor Relations will drive transparency, credibility, and confidence within the investment community while supporting capital markets activities and ensuring consistent messaging across all external financial communications. Key Responsibilities Investor Relations Strategy Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and financial goals. Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, shareholders, analysts, and other members of the financial community. Serve as the company's primary spokesperson to the investment community regarding financial performance and strategic direction. Monitor investor sentiment, analyst coverage, market trends, and shareholder activity to provide actionable insights to executive leadership. Financial Communications Lead preparation and execution of quarterly earnings announcements, earnings calls, annual reports, investor presentations, and shareholder communications. Partner with Finance, Legal, and Corporate Communications to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant disclosures. Oversee development of investor materials, SEC-related communications support, and key messaging documents. Ensure consistency and clarity in all external financial communications. Executive & Board Partnership Advise executive leadership and the Board on investor perceptions, market expectations, valuation trends, and shareholder concerns. Prepare executives for investor meetings, conferences, and earnings presentations. Support Board presentations related to investor activity, capital markets, and shareholder engagement. Capital Markets & Strategic Initiatives Support capital raising activities, M&A initiatives, debt offerings, and other strategic financial transactions. Coordinate investor engagement related to strategic initiatives and corporate developments. Partner with Finance leadership on long-range planning and external financial positioning. Market Intelligence & Analysis Analyze financial market trends, peer performance, valuation metrics, and analyst models. Develop insights and recommendations regarding shareholder composition and investor targeting strategies. Maintain deep understanding of industry dynamics and competitive positioning. Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration Lead and mentor the Investor Relations function and related team members. Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Communications, ESG, Strategy, and Executive Leadership teams. Foster a high-performance culture focused on transparency, accountability, and strategic communication. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. 12+ years of progressive experience in investor relations, corporate finance, investment banking, equity research, or related financial leadership roles. Significant experience interacting with institutional investors, analysts, and executive leadership teams. Strong understanding of financial markets, SEC regulations, disclosure requirements, and public company governance. Exceptional executive communication, presentation, and relationship management skills. Proven ability to translate complex financial and operational information into compelling investment narratives. Preferred Qualifications MBA, CFA, or advanced business/finance degree preferred. Experience in a publicly traded company environment. Prior leadership experience within a high-growth, global, or technology-driven organization. Experience supporting earnings calls, IPOs, debt offerings, or M&A transactions.
