Job Description The Vice President Operations, Financial Strategy and Initiatives serves a key role on the Versant Production & Distribution Finance team, reporting to the Vice President/CFO Production & Distribution Finance and serving as the operational finance support partner to the full "Operations & Technology" (O&T) team. The role provides the unique opportunity for extensive visibility with the Versant leadership team and experience both shaping and managing the operations of a recently formed Media company. The Production & Distribution Finance team is responsible for providing the full suite of operational Finance support to the President of Operations & Technology and O&T Leadership Team. This team will be responsible for supporting strategic decisions on the set-up and evolution of the Versant Operations & Technology function and providing ongoing financial support on day-to-day operations and guiding long-term initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Support the Vice President/CFO of Production & Distribution and O&T Leadership Team in making strategic decisions related to setting-up new technical and operational solutions for Versant and partnering with Leadership to align O&T Services with Versant Strategic initiatives, while creating financial value to the Corporation through leveraging scale, technology and optimizing operational processes. Provide ongoing operational finance support for the full Operations & Technology team, including enabling live production activities, managing key vendor relationships, and providing financial support across Versant facilities. Manage tracking of overall Versant Operations & Technology operating expenses and allocating capital spend in collaboration with Versant Corporate FP&A team. Partner with Versant Corporate FP&A team with key inputs for ongoing forecasting, including budgets/long-range plans, in-year pacing, and ad hoc financial analysis on the Operations & Technology organization. Partnering with the Director of Production & Distribution Finance and O&T Finance Team of 8+ Finance Professionals to deliver core Finance Responsibilities (e.g. month end close, transactional tracking/approval, Capital Projects, Pacing, Key Performance Indicators, etc…), while developing automated and standard processes and leading the financial reporting/LRP/Budget processes and special projects (as identified).
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or Accounting and a minimum 10+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance. Strong project management skills. Prior relevant senior financial management and leadership experience. Experience with production, Technology and engineering finance preferred. Knowledge of Capital Project Planning, oversight, accounting and prioritization preferred. Proven execution focus with the ability to multi-task and lead wide-ranging business initiatives.
Desired Qualifications:
Previous experience in the media and entertainment industry highly preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization. Comfort with a culture of adaptability with continuous refinement of roles and processes. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership skills and ability to team effectively across a wide range of other leaders.

Hybrid:
This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Subject to change based on business need. This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
Salary range:
$200,000
