Non-Exempt Primary Position Objectives Assist in the coordination of day-to-day patient administration, records management, and office support activities Position Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Brief Description of Duties Administration Procedures $25.27-$25.28/hourly Type routine and technical materials, subject to detailed review by manager Correct incidental grammatical errors, punctuation, and spelling Set up and type tables, charts and graphs from specific instructions or from a rough draft Modify letters to fit varying situations Screen mail and routes according to content; Fill requests for standard materials, such as reprints and publications Answer inquiries requiring standard answers and/or refer calls to proper persons based on type of information requested Allocate materials to a moderately complex filing system Select and pull pertinent material from files as requested by manager Post and maintain records, which may require follow-up action with responsibility for currency and accuracy Compile reports for Center Health Management Information System (HMIS) Operate duplicating and office machines as required and instructs others in the operation of such machines Make physical arrangements for meetings and notifies persons of time and place as directed Act as receptionist and makes appointments for manager Maintain logs on all Wellness patients Work to ensure performance management standards are met Ensure required property (equipment) controls are adhered to Work towards meeting performance management goals Position Competencies Key Competencies Performance Standards/Results Effective Communication Present information both clearly and concisely and regularly confirms correct interpretation of information Very high standard of communication skills, both written and oral for the presentation of facts and ideas Written communication must be clear, concise, easy to read and comprehend Organization of Work Action-oriented; Demonstrate the ability to handle several projects simultaneously with decision making, flexibility, and problem-solving Implement the key principles of time management, task allocation, and priority assignment in addition to personal organization Show attention to detail and the ability to complete work with the highest level of accuracy and efficiency Continually seek ways to improve employment service provided via the development of professional skills and personal growth Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communications skills Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Office applications including Word, Power Point and Excel Experience One year customer service experience preferred Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
