  • Shift begins at 6:30pm, Sunday through Thursday The role of Warehouse employee is responsible for the safe handling of Clare Rose Products in the warehouse.
The general Warehouse Assignment requires the candidate to perform duties such as general warehouse assignments. During Warehouse assignments, they will take on general warehouse operational functions. The Warehouse employee must understand all company policies and procedures. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Mangers. This is an hourly position. Hours are Sunday through Thursday, 6:30pm to 3:00am. Must be able to do overtime. Pay is $20.69 per hour.
Primary Job Functions:
Warehouse Functions The Warehouse employee assumes other responsibilities as assigned by Day/Night Warehouse Supervisors, VP of Operations & Safety and ownership. These responsibilities and objectives include but are not limited to: Attendance Expectations Work Schedule
  • must be flexible Appearance Professionalism Perform warehouse duties, such as load picking/building, inventory management, etc.
Ability to perform WMS (Warehouse Management System) functions using technology (iPod handheld) Operation of forklift and/or walk-rider is required Maintain all certification required to operate said equipment Ensure loads are built and loaded accurately in a timely manner Load and unload delivery trucks Proper stock rotation in the warehouse and on the delivery trucks Uphold appearance of facility Prepare damaged product for repack Preserve general maintenance of equipment Continued education programs as required Encompass Training ABU Curriculum (on-line training) Safety compliance knowledge Product Knowledge (Styles, Categories, etc.) Solid Understanding of the total product portfolio (brands and packages) Development of Warehouse Employee A Warehouse Employee with proper development can expect opportunities to move into roles such as Relief Delivery Driver. Additional opportunities may exist in movement to the Sales Department. Product Knowledge
  • Must understand the entire Clare Rose Portfolio Continued education programs as required Physical Demands Excellent physical ability; Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds (unassisted) repeatedly over the course of the day.
In addition, they are required to functionally lift and maneuver up to 165 pounds (with limited assistance of a hand truck or lifting implement). Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Ability to withstand the physically demands of repeated lifting, pulling and managing heavy equipment and objects The physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the Warehouse Employee job. While performing the responsibilities of the Warehouse Employee, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. Work Environment While performing the responsibilities of the Warehouse Employee job, the employee will encounter all weather conditions. While performing the duties of this job in the internal and external environment, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. While performing duties of this job in the field environment, the employee will be exposed on a regular basis to moving mechanical parts, motor vehicles and traffic. In addition, the exposure while in customer locations cannot be projected. These conditions may vary, and the employee will receive adequate training to recognize and avoid hazards that cannot be described as expected. Noise levels can range from quiet to loud.
