Warehouse Associate

Overview Water Medic of Cape Coral is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team What do we do here? Water Medic is a full-service water and well company that also provides Pool Service and Repair. We are innovative, autonomous, professional and our goal is to be the premier, employee-owned water treatment team for generations to come Must be able to pass a Background Check, Drug Test and Driver's License Check. Must have a valid Florida Driver's License for at least the last 3 years and must be 21 in order to drive for us.

Monday-Friday 8 hour shift

REQUIREMENTS

In order to effectively complete all job responsibilities, Warehouse Associate must meet the following requirements: Lift and carry up to 75 lbs Be able to work outdoors withstanding SW Florida weather conditions, such as heat and rain Must wear appropriate clothing and gear for different climates Will be exposed to chemicals such as chlorine and Muriatic Acid Restocking shelves Ability to use power tools Ability to use hand tools Be able to kneel, stoop, walk and stand for long periods of time Clean and organize warehouse Must be able to learn and remember names of parts/fittings and where the go in warehouse Good Hand Eye coordination Good understanding of potential hazards related to position and taking necessary precautions Ability to climb and stand on 6' ladder Safely drive and maneuver forklift Ability to use pallet jack and hand trucks Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic math skills Ability to communicate with other employees and drivers Good work ethic Job Summary Extract, disinfect and build reconditioned post-filters as needed Build WHRO storage tanks as needed Unload incoming deliveries Verify all parts on invoice Put deliveries away Keep workspace clean and organized Keep area by dumpster clean, fill with items left by technicians Keep both yards neat and organized Keep warehouse neat and organized Help pull parts for technicians in mornings Build specialty filters/softeners when needed Empty the cardboard bin on a daily basis Sweep warehouse floor as needed Shake out rugs as needed (at least once a week) Wipe down ice machine as needed (at least once a week)

From $18.00 per hour
