Position Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations at the company, including the management of inventory, staff supervision, and ensuring that all logistics and storage functions are carried out efficiently and accurately. The Warehouse Manager plays a key role in ensuring the proper storage and handling of products, maintaining quality control, and managing the timely shipping and receiving of goods. This position involves close collaboration with the sales, production, and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain operations.Job Status:

Warehouse Operations:
Manage all day-to-day activities in the warehouse, including receiving, storing, inventory control, and shipping of products. Ensure accurate and timely processing of all orders, from receipt to delivery. Develop and implement procedures for optimizing warehouse operations, including product storage, space utilization, and inventory management. Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment, ensuring all tools and machinery are in good working order. Establish and monitor safety procedures, ensuring that all warehouse activities are compliant with safety standards and regulations. Coordinate with the production team to align warehousing activities with production schedules, ensuring timely supply of materials. Ensure that storage conditions meet industry standards to maintain quality and prevent damage or loss.Inventory Management:
Oversee the inventory management system, ensuring that all stock levels are accurate and up-to-date in the company's records. Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts, and audits to ensure inventory accuracy. Manage the rotation of products to ensure that older stock is used first and that products are delivered according to specifications. Prepare and submit inventory reports to senior management, detailing stock levels, usage patterns, and any discrepancies.Team Leadership and Supervision:
Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, including full-time and seasonal employees, ensuring that all team members are working efficiently and effectively. Assign tasks and responsibilities to warehouse workers, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks. Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement. Monitor staff performance and provide feedback, coaching, and training to ensure adherence to warehouse procedures and standards.Shipping and Logistics:
Coordinate the shipping and receiving of products, ensuring that all goods are dispatched and delivered on time and in good condition. Work with logistics providers to optimize transportation schedules, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery. Ensure all shipments are properly documented, including the completion of shipping manifests, bills of lading, and packing lists. Track and report on the status of incoming and outgoing shipments, resolving any delays or discrepancies.Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and resolve any issues with deliveries. Work closely with production, operations, and procurement teams to ensure the efficient flow of materials and finished products. Serve as the main point of contact for warehouse operations, providing regular updates to senior management on key warehouse metrics and performance.Education / Experience
/ Skills /Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience in warehouse management accepted. Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field, with preference for experience in the agricultural or industry. Strong understanding of inventory management and warehousing practices, including familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS). Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, informed decisions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with inventory management software. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities. Job Expectations /Working Conditions:
This position is based in a warehouse environment, with regular working hours. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks that involve standing, walking, and moving throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
