PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
The Night Shift Warehouse Manager will oversee the daily workflow of the night shift warehouse crews and ensure that all warehouse activities are carried out efficiently and profitably.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, and shipping products Schedules and organizes warehouse employees to ensure proper staffing of all shifts Interview, select, and train warehouse employees Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy Completes all required management reports Executes maintenance activities when needed Organize pallets and other support materials in a safe manner Communicate warehouse concerns and safety issues to the general manager Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable federal, state, local, and company safety rules, regulations, and procedures Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company Other duties as assigned by management
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Basic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in warehouse Three or more years of experience in a warehouse role managing hourly employees Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Fishbowl would be a plus, MS Office, and strong problem-solving skills Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Excellent time management skills Forklift operation license is preferred Bilingual Spanish is a plus Drug Screening will be
REQUIRED PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying. Must be able to work night shift schedule, 1:30 AM to 10 AM Work Schedule, Monday to Saturday
EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING
High School diploma or equivalent required 3+ years of warehouse experience, food industry related experience is a plus 3+ years of experience working with cooler/freezer storage
