Warehouse, Mover/Packer

Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Movers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the loading, unloading, and transportation of goods for our clients. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. As a Mover, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our client's belongings are handled with care and delivered safely to their new locations. Responsibilities Safely load and unload items from trucks or vans, ensuring proper handling techniques to prevent damage. Operate box trucks or vans for local deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Assemble or disassemble furnishings for moving packing and moving. Assist in packing and wrapping items securely for transport. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during the moving process. Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring personal safety and the safety of others. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and warehouse area. Utilize forklifts or other equipment as necessary for moving large or heavy items. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during moves. Deliver contents to customer homes and businesses while following company policies and procedures; reset the home or business and unpack contents to pre-loss condition. Maintain proper documentation and update content tracking management systems to track all items and their location. Clean items from job sites including, but not limited to furniture, household items, clothing, office equipment, and paper goods; and wrap and pack them for storage Follow all policies and safety regulations

Other Responsibilities:

Maintain or create accurate, detailed lists, measurements, diagrams, photos, journals, work orders, and other documentation, as required for each job. Input details of daily job status into database. Requirements Previous experience in moving, delivery driving, or warehouse operations is preferred. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is beneficial (minimum age 21 for insurance purposes). Must pass background and drug screening assessments. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis. Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment handling is advantageous. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed. Must be able to use basic hand tools, such as screwdriver, wrench, hammer, and power tools to assemble or disassemble furniture and fixtures. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
