Job Description
Conifer Specialties has over 40 years of experience making premium quality food products sold in retail outlets throughout the country and in international markets. We manage our own great brands as well as work with some of the best brands in the Pacific Northwest. Our mission is to responsibly grow our business with quality products and people, in a fun, healthy and dependable environment. We have an immediate opening for an experienced Warehouse Receiving Associate / Forklift Driver. This position is responsible for operating a forklift, and effectively processing receiving, shipping, storing, and producing records for goods in accordance with the company's food safety and customer service policies. Essential Functions 1. Operates forklifts and hand trucks to move or hoist materials to proper areas and Transfer materials to and from our production. 2. Staging for the following days of production 3. Operates the stretch wrap banders 4. Performs the picking, packing and shipping of all shipments 5. Works with Supervisor and Warehouse Lead to ensure order fulfillments are accurate and shipped on time. 6. Receives, examines, properly records all incoming deliveries to verify quality and quantities are correct 7. Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies using
WMS Skills/Attributes:
1. Technical capacity and basic computer skills 2. Time management 3. Efficiency and strong work ethic 4. Works independently while contributing to a team environment 5. Good organization, thoroughness, and attention to detail 6. Good communication skills (written and verbal) 7. Team player and able to work with all departments and personalities Preferred Education and/orExperience:
1. Current forklift certification 2. Valid driver's license and good driving record 3. Prior experience specifically in- Receiving Departments
- 4. Prior experience with GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices) 5.
- Experience or knowledge of WMS and familiarity with computers (word, excel, shipping programs, etc.)
