DESCRIPTION
Maytronics, a global innovator in automatic pool robotics and the parent company of the Dolphin® brand, is seeking a Warehouse Site Manager for our Piedmont, SC location. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced, hands-on leader to join our team. The Warehouse Site Manager leads day-to-day warehouse operations, fostering a strong safety culture while ensuring efficient receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution. This role is accountable for meeting and exceeding operational KPIs, driving continuous improvement, and developing front-line leaders. The position supports a 7-day operation serving both Retail (B2B) and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels. This is an on-site, hands-on leadership role; during a typical day, the Site Manager spends more than 50% of their time on the floor overseeing execution. Summary of Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership- Oversee distribution center operations, including associate safety, facilities, systems, equipment, warehouse labor, and carrier relationships.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer and consumer service expectations.
- Ensure purchase orders, inventory transfers, and customer orders are processed to internal SLA targets.
- Monitor workflow, labor allocation, and productivity to achieve operational and service targets.
- Implement Lean practices and promote a continuous improvement mindset across the operation.
- Assist with annual budget preparation, including capital planning.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership and cross-functional partners; identify risks early and escalate support needs.
- Manage the monthly operating budget; proactively address variances with timely, well-documented action plans.
- Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external customers to deliver operational excellence. Safety & Compliance
- Enforce workplace safety policies and applicable OSHA regulations.
- Ensure equipment is maintained, inspected, and operating effectively.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and security procedures.
- Lead warehouse safety programs to maintain a safe, clean, and organized workplace for all associates. Inventory Management
- Oversee the inventory management program and drive inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliations.
- Establish processes to investigate discrepancies and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Optimize space utilization and storage systems to support peak-season demand.
- Ensure ISOX compliance across all inventory and order transactions. Staff Management
- Lead recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and corrective action for direct reports, including temporary and seasonal staff.
- Coach and mentor supervisors, leads, and associates to build capability and accountability.
- Monitor performance and deliver training initiatives to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
- Develop annual labor plans for fixed and variable staffing based on volume and shipment forecasts.
- Set, monitor, and manage site and team goals aligned to the company's annual operating plan.
- Maintain strong relationships with contingent labor providers to support staffing needs. Process Improvement
- Build and execute a pipeline of continuous improvement projects that enhance speed, accuracy, service, and cost.
- Collaborate with partners across Purchasing, IT, Transportation, Sales, and Customer Service to improve end-to-end supply chain efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). 7+ years of warehouse or distribution center management experience (seasonal businesses preferred). Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to execute, meet deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced, seasonal B2B and eCommerce shipping environment. Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) experience preferred. Knowledge of material handling equipment (MHE). Working knowledge of WMS, TMS, and Microsoft Office. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, with or without reasonable accommodation.Similar remote jobs
