Job Description
Position Summary:
Warehouse Supervisor coordinate receiving and outgoing shipment while maintain accuracy in inventory consistent with service and cost objectives. This role oversee employee's performance and meeting production goals. This role requires collaboration with all levels of organization team members, ensures the safety of team members, and delivers continuous training to warehouse team members in accordance with meeting daily organizational goals and expectations. Warehouse Supervisor will report directly to the Sr. Plant Director. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):Supervisory Responsibilities:
Establishing and executing department priorities to ensure supervisee follow organizational policy and procedures with the primary focus of warehouse activities Monitoring employee productivity to provide positive feedback, verbal coaching, written disciplinary actions, as well as cyclical performance evaluations Attendance and time keeping for all shipping team members Set goals for department performance as it pertains to individual employee performance and succession planning The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Ensure accuracy of inventory and movement of goods received and shipped Ensure all Warehouse Team Members adhere to the safety policies and procedures. Maintain quality and efficiencies goals set by management Collaborate with persons at all levels of the organization to achieve organizational objectiveQUALIFICATIONS
: 2+ years prior supervisory experience, Associates Degree or better preferred. Ability to read, write and speak in English Superior time management skills including the ability to manage multiple issues concurrently Ability to lead an effective and efficient meeting Excellent employee relations skills including being an active listener, understanding how to appraise personnel, applying both positive and corrective feedback, being able to resolve conflicts Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to speak effectively before groups Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Excellent problem-solving skills, and strong work ethic High school diploma or GED equivalentPHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; kneel; talk; or hear, and hand grip. The employee may frequently lift, pull or push and /or move more than 50 pounds. Frequently use copier, scanner, fax machine, phone, and computer equipment. The employee is occasionally required to sit, Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Specific vision abilities required by the job include: closes vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), peripheral vision (ability to observe and area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point), and ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring and object into sharp focus). Specific hearing levels within normal/average range.WORK ENVIORNMENT
