Job Description
Position Overview Renewal by Andersen is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations while actively working alongside the team. This role is responsible for inventory control, product staging, job preparation, fleet coordination, and maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse that supports window and door installation operations. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily receiving, unloading, staging, and shipping of windows, doors, and materials.
- Order and schedule the receiving of materials from vendors based on the schedule before they are needed.
- Verify incoming products for accuracy and damage.
- Oversee that all materials are cut and processed for upcoming jobs.
- Stage materials accurately for upcoming installation jobs.
- Maintain organized warehouse layout and perform regular inventory cycle counts.
- See to it that the inventory system is updated and accurate.
- Manage consumables, returns, warranty parts, and damaged materials.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff; set daily priorities and performance expectations.
- Oversee company vehicles, trailers, and proper load securement.
- Assist in the field when necessary during high-volume periods.
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards and conduct regular safety inspections. Qualifications 1+ years of warehouse supervisor or lead experience.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and job staging processes.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor daily.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and inventory systems.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
