Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Supervisor, overseeing daily operations during the 4am to 1pm shift. In this energetic role, you will lead a dedicated warehouse team to ensure efficient distribution, inventory control, and logistics processes. Your leadership will drive process improvements, maintain safety standards, and foster a collaborative environment that keeps our warehouse running smoothly and safely. Duties Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Lead and motivate warehouse staff, providing clear direction, training, and support to optimize team performance. Oversee inventory control processes using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to maintain accurate stock levels and reduce discrepancies. Coordinate logistics operations with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to streamline distribution channels and improve delivery times. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and accuracy across all warehouse functions. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards by conducting regular safety audits and training sessions. Manage shipping and receiving operations, including heavy lifting procedures and materials handling equipment such as forklifts (certified operators preferred). Maintain detailed records of inventory movements, shipment documentation, and incident reports for audit purposes. Support the integration of e-commerce fulfillment processes to meet customer expectations for rapid delivery. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the warehouse environment. Experience Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar warehouse management role with a strong background in warehouse distribution and logistics. Extensive knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS), AS400, and materials handling equipment including forklifts (certification preferred). Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining high safety standards aligned with OSHA guidelines. Hands-on experience with process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques, mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment, and shipping & receiving procedures. Experience working within e-commerce or 3PL logistics environments is highly desirable. Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and best practices for materials handling.
