In this vital role, you will be responsible for handling inventory, operating heavy equipment, and supporting efficient warehouse distribution processes. Your proactive approach will ensure accurate order fulfillment, safe materials handling, and smooth shipping and receiving operations. Responsibilities Manage inventory control through accurate tracking and documentation using warehouse management systems such as AS400 or RF scanners. Operate heavy equipment including reach trucks, cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, stock, and move materials safely and efficiently. Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving to ensure timely delivery of products. Conduct stock replenishment and inventory management tasks to maintain optimal stock levels within the warehouse. Support manufacturing or construction-related activities by handling materials with mechanical knowledge and heavy lifting techniques. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards by following proper procedures during heavy equipment operation and materials handling. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall warehouse management. Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations including stocking, order fulfillment, and inventory management. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 platforms for inventory control. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate heavy machinery safely and perform basic maintenance when needed. Excellent skills in shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing, and load & unload activities. Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations related to warehouse environments and heavy equipment operation. Previous experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus to support team coordination.
