Warehouse/Retail Associate

Counter Sales:

Assist walk-in customers with product selection and purchases. Handle phone/email inquiries and provide accurate quotes. Prepare will-call orders and assist with returns/exchanges. Input sales into POS/ERP system accurately and promptly. Provide product and pricing information. Support outside sales and account managers with order entry. Build and maintain relationships with repeat customers. Proactively recommend solutions and products to meet customer needs.

Warehouse & Service Operations:

Pull and stage materials for customer orders and deliveries. Load/unload trucks and trailers; secure loads safely. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and yard environment. Operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely (training provided if needed). Deliver products and materials to customer sites as required. Assist installation crews as needed.

Inventory Control:

Receive inbound shipments and verify against purchase orders. Process paperwork, match POs and packing slips accurately. Tag, shelve, and barcode items in correct bin locations. Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs. Conduct cycle counts and support overall inventory accuracy goals. Education and/or

Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-3 years in retail sales, customer service, or warehouse operations (preferred). Experience in construction, irrigation, or industrial supply industry a plus. Proficient with POS and/or ERP systems (Sage, Acumatica, or similar preferred). Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, inventory systems). Knowledge of barcoding, inventory control methods, and shipping/receiving processes. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. regularly. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions. Ability to operate forklifts and equipment.

Pay:

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
