Warehouse/Scale Operator

Job Opportunity:

Office/ Scale Operator & Warehouse Support We are small, no-frills scrap yard operation in Mount Airy, NC seeking a dependable, hands on team member.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate scale: Weigh incoming/outgoing materials and assisting customers in person and via phone. Handle customer transactions and maintain accurate records Provide straightforward, efficient customer service Assist in the warehouse when needed Inspect, sort, and help grade incoming materials Support general yard operations when required Operate equipment such as skid steers, forklifts, heavy machinery What we're looking for: Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors Ability to shift between office duties and hands-on yard work Good communication and basic math skills Equipment operator experience is a plus

Position Details:

Full-Time position (40 hours per week) Occasional Saturday work Steady, straightforward work environment with a mix of customer interaction and physical tasks.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
