In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment used in water treatment processes. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on wastewater treatment equipment, including pumps, valves, motors, and control systems. Repair and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems using detailed analysis skills to identify issues quickly. Operate heavy equipment such as tankers and other construction machinery safely during maintenance or repair tasks. Collect data on equipment performance and system operations to assist with analysis and reporting. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment utilizing your mechanical knowledge and construction skills. Use programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCS) to monitor and adjust water treatment processes effectively. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform equipment repairs efficiently. Experience operating heavy equipment such as tankers, cranes, or other construction machinery. Familiarity with water treatment processes, wastewater treatment systems, and related safety protocols. Proficiency in data collection, analysis skills, and basic math for troubleshooting and system optimization. Knowledge of plumbing systems and maintenance procedures is essential for system integrity. Ability to operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCS) for process control.
