Wastewater Technician

The City of Walterboro has one (1) opening for a Wastewater Technician in the Wastewater Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for various activities pertaining to the maintenance and repair of sewer treatment plant and related equipment including sewer pump stations. Applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and vocational/technical training with 1-2 years of experience in wastewater treatment and maintenance, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities. Applicant must have a valid SC Commercial Drivers license or the ability to obtain within six (6) months. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Please submit a 3-year driving record with application. $17.64 hourly.
