Job Description

We're seeking a Water/Wastewater Operator Trainee to support daily operations and maintenance activities at water and wastewater treatment facilities. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in utilities and environmental operations.
Pay:
Up to $24.35 per hour
Key Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to obtain NM Level I Water or Wastewater certification within 18 months
What You'll Do:
  • Assist certified operators with water/wastewater treatment processes
  • Monitor gauges, meters, pumps, and control systems
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, sampling, and recordkeeping
