Job Description
Hours Per Week Role Summary:
The Website Systems Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, accuracy, and improvement of company websites. This role operates within the Systems Department and serves as the primary support resource for web-related tasks while developing a working understanding of how website systems connect to other areas of the business. The position is focused on building depth in website systems while maintaining cross-functional awareness to identify issues, investigate root causes, and escalate when necessary.Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update website content, including products, images, and page elements. Ensure accuracy and consistency of website data in alignment with internal systems. Monitor website functionality and identify errors, bugs, or performance issues. Troubleshoot basic issues and coordinate resolution with appropriate resources. Support ongoing improvements to website structure, usability, and organization. Assist with backend website tasks, including data updates and system changes. Contribute to planning and execution of website platform improvements, including WordPress migration. Work with Purchasing, Sales, and Marketing to ensure website accuracy. Document workflows, changes, and recurring issues. Cross-Functional Support Work alongside all departments (Finance, Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, etc.) to troubleshoot system-related issues across NetSuite, connectors, and web platforms. Develop a foundational understanding of cross-departmental processes to support system accuracy, effective troubleshooting, and overall business operations across platforms (NetSuite, WordPress, eBay, Amazon, and NetSuite Connector). Apply cross-functional knowledge to identify system issues and support ongoing operational continuity. Proactively learn how data flows between systems and departments to improve issue diagnosis and resolution. Support major systems and cross-functional projects by contributing to research, testing, documentation, and implementation efforts, while building an understanding of project workflows, timelines, and success criteria. Assist in researching, developing, and implementing new tools, technologies, and process improvements, including AI and third-party solutions, where applicable .Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field. Minimum 2 years' IT department experience preferred. Ability to troubleshoot and follow issues across systems.
