Duties Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements for their wedding day Coordinate with vendors such as caterers, florists, photographers, and entertainment providers to ensure seamless service delivery Manage event timelines, schedules, and logistics to keep everything on track from setup to cleanup Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to maximize value while maintaining quality standards Upsell additional services or packages that enhance the client's experience and increase revenue opportunities Oversee venue setup, including catering arrangements, décor placement, and guest accommodations Serve as the primary point of contact during the event day, ensuring smooth communication among all parties involved Handle budgeting tasks, track expenses, and ensure all services stay within agreed financial parameters Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally throughout the planning process and event day Skills Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors and clients Excellent marketing abilities to promote services and attract new clients through event marketing strategies Proven upselling techniques to enhance client packages and increase revenue streams Experience in event planning, management, and execution within hospitality or banquet settings Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Effective time management to juggle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines Knowledge of events management software and budgeting tools for efficient planning Clear communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and team members effectively Organizational skills that ensure detailed attention to every aspect of wedding coordination Familiarity with banquet operations, catering processes, restaurant or hotel experience preferred Understanding of contracts, legal considerations in event planning, and venue policies Experience in fundraising or guest services is a plus for enhancing guest experiences Embark on a rewarding career where your enthusiasm for creating beautiful moments will shine!
