Weekend Horse Feeder

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Weekend Horse Feeder and become a vital part of maintaining the health and happiness of our beloved retired horses. This role offers an opportunity to work outdoors, ensuring our equine residents receive top-quality care during weekend hours. You'll be responsible for feeding horses twice daily. If experienced and you would like more time to assist with grooming, we may have more hours available. If you're passionate about horses, enjoy hands-on work, this position is perfect for you! Responsibilities Feed horses twice daily according to established schedules, ensuring proper portioning and timing Monitor horse behavior and health, noting any signs of distress or injury for prompt action Assist with basic grooming, if possible. Maintain records of feeding schedules and animal health observations. Requirements Prior experience with animal handling, especially horses or livestock, is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely
