Weighmaster

Looking for a stable job with a long-standing company? Rockydale Quarries Corporation, a well-established aggregate producer in Virginia, is hiring a Weighmaster at our Quicksburg, VA location. This role is based at a quarry and involves weighing trucks that are hauling our products. You'll work with both company and customer trucks and help ensure the right materials are loaded and recorded accurately. Must be able to work a 10-hour shift Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

Weigh trucks and load materials according to VDOT standards and company policies Enter data into the ticketing system accurately Assist customers in choosing the right materials for their job Handle payments and count money Communicate with customers, drivers, supervisors, and other team members Follow all company policies and safety procedures

What We're Looking For:

Comfortable working in a busy, outdoor quarry setting (not an office or call center job) Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office and Windows-based programs Good math skills and attention to detail Able to work with customers and drivers in-person and over the phone High school diploma or GED required Must be able to work overtime when needed Familiarity with Flatrock, Broadway, Harrisonburg, and surrounding areas is a plus
