Weighmaster / Scale House & Accounting Coordinator

Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Weighmaster / Scale House & Accounting Coordinator to support daily operations at our aggregate/quarry facility. This position plays a critical role in managing truck scale operations, maintaining accurate ticketing records, and assisting with accounting and payroll-related tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with drivers and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate truck scale and accurately weigh inbound and outbound loads. Generate and manage scale tickets and load documentation. Enter daily transactions and tickets into QuickBooks. Assist with billing and recordkeeping. Report employee hours for payroll processing. Communicate with drivers, customers, and plant personnel. Maintain organized records of materials, loads, and deliveries. Ensure accuracy of data entry and documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

3+ years experience in office, accounting, or scale house environment. Experience in aggregate, construction, trucking, or ready-mix industry strongly preferred.

Strong knowledge of:

Billing and invoicing. Customer account management. Dispatch coordination (preferred).

Proficiency in:

QuickBooks or similar accounting software. Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills (Big Plus): Experience with scale systems/ticketing software. Knowledge of materials (rock, sand, base, etc.). Understanding of hauling logistics and trucking coordination.
