You will be responsible for cutting, bending and preparing rebar to produce cages for reinforcement of our concrete parts.

Job Duties:

Cut and bend rebar, including but not limited to D3 wire to specific lengths Produce templates for the cages to be produced Spot-weld cages together both on molds and at workstation Operate industrial fork truck Operate bender, cutter, and spot welder Make minor repairs and adjustments to cages Clean workstation and machines used Shovel loose materials, including but not limited to metal shavings and wire clippings Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

6 months to a year of welding experience preferred High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with various welding techniques and machines Ability to work with minimal supervision Commitment to excellence and high standards Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills Ability to manage priorities and workflow Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm Acute attention to detail Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Physical Requirements Continually required to stand Continually required to walk Occasionally required to sit Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl Continually required to talk or hear Continually required to lift/push/carry items less than 25 pounds Frequently required to lift/push/carry items 25 pounds to 50 pounds Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items less than more than 50 pounds Frequently exposure to wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather) Frequently work near moving mechanical parts Occasionally work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions Occasionally loud noise (examples: metal can manufacture, large earth-moving equipment) Continually very loud noise (concrete mixers, vibration tables) Pay & Benefits Pay range: $23.00 - $26.00/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
