Duties & Descriprion of Position This is a full-time, on-site position located in Solon Springs, WI. Workdays are Monday-Thursday 8am-6pm. The Production Welder will perform a variety of welding tasks, including assembling and welding metal components using methods such as manual or robotic MIG welding. The role involves interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, selecting appropriate materials, and ensuring that welds meet quality and safety standards. Regular maintenance of welding equipment and adherence to safety protocols are also vital responsibilities. Qualifications Proficiency in MIG Welding all positions, Dual-Shield 1/16" wire, hard surfacing Experience in general welding techniques and working with various materials, with an emphasis on alloy/Hardox armor plate. Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints Strong attention to detail and quality assurance standards Familiarity with safety protocols and proper use of welding equipment Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting heavy materials High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification is a plus Forklift experience and the ability to use overhead cranes Tuition reimbursement and signing bonus options available upon tenure. $24.00 - $34.00 per hour
