Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Welder/Fabricator specializing in TIG welding! WE are growing and would love for you to join our team, we have many opportunities to advance. You'll be a vital part of a fast-paced manufacturing environment, utilizing your expertise to ensure top-tier craftsmanship and safety standards. Duties Perform TIG welding on various metals, including sheet metal and pipe components, adhering to detailed blueprints and schematics. Fabricate custom parts and assemblies using hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and ASME codes & standards to ensure precise fabrication and assembly. Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and maintain quality control throughout the production process. Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely to move materials and completed assemblies within the workspace. Conduct pipe threading, soldering, and ductwork fabrication as required for various projects. Maintain a clean, organized work area while following all safety protocols related to welding, machining, and construction site practices. Requirements Proven experience in construction site environments or manufacturing facilities with a focus on welding and fabrication. Proficiency in TIG welding; experience with MIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <
LOCATION
> welding is a plus. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and mechanical drawings for accurate fabrication. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and machining tools. Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements, material estimations, and quality checks. Experience with rigging operations, crane handling, forklift operation, and pipe threading techniques. Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes, ductwork installation, soldering, and schematics interpretation. Excellent attention to detail combined with safety awareness; ability to work efficiently on construction sites or manufacturing floors. Valid certifications in welding (including TIG), ASME codes & standards preferred; additional certifications such as crane operation or forklift license are advantageous.
