Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and hands-on experience in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. The successful candidate will contribute to the production of high-quality components for our projects while ensuring adherence to safety standards and specifications. Duties Perform MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding on various materials including sheet metal. Interpret blueprints and schematics to fabricate components accurately. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks. Conduct assembly of fabricated parts, ensuring precision and quality. Perform rigging tasks as required for lifting heavy components. Use calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills to measure dimensions accurately. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines. Requirements Proven experience in welding, fabrication, and fitting within a manufacturing or construction environment. Familiarity with ASME codes & standards is preferred. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining and soldering. Experience with ductwork installation is a plus. Ability to operate various types of welding equipment safely and efficiently. Knowledge of pipe threading techniques is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
