Job Description

Southern Transport is hiring experienced Winch Truck Drivers to safely move heavy industrial and oilfield equipment across local and regional routes. This role is critical to supporting safe, efficient operations in the field while maintaining high standards for safety, professionalism, and equipment care. What You'll Do Operate winch trucks to transport heavy industrial, construction, and oilfield equipment Safely load and offload equipment using winch and hydraulic systems Secure loads using chains, binders, rigging, and blocking techniques Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report equipment issues promptly Navigate active job sites and changing field conditions safely Maintain compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety standards Complete ELD logs, trip paperwork, and inspection documentation accurately Communicate effectively with dispatch, field crews, and customers What You Need to
Succeed Required:
Minimum 3 years of CDL driving experience in heavy haul, industrial, or oilfield transportation Prior winch truck experience Strong understanding of load securement and DOT compliance Ability to work outdoors and travel as operational needs require Safety-first mindset with dependable attendance and professionalism
Preferred:
