Full Job Description Winding Machine Operator Department:

Pre-Assembly Mid-Central Electric is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Winding Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating high-speed coil winding machines used to produce copper wound coils for medium-voltage control power transformers.

Pay Range:

$41,500 - $45,500 annually

Schedule:

Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday Job Responsibilities Review transformer winding and assembly documentation to determine proper wire size, number of turns, and core specifications Set up winding machines according to production requirements Operate winding equipment efficiently while maintaining quality standards Manually insert insulation material between winding layers as required Change wire and materials as needed during production runs Monitor machine performance and report operational issues to supervisors promptly Assist in other manufacturing areas during periods of reduced production volume Qualifications Required Ability to operate machinery in a seated position for extended periods of time Strong attention to detail and ability to follow production instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Previous manufacturing or production experience Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, sit, lift, carry, push, pull, and reach throughout the workday Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed Frequent use of hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying noise levels and temperature conditions Work Environment This position works in a manufacturing setting and may involve exposure to machinery, noise, temperature changes, and other standard industrial conditions.
