In this role, you will be responsible for curating wine selections and assisting guests with wine questions, and ensuring a seamless and memorable experience. Your enthusiasm for fine wines and commitment to outstanding customer service will help create an inviting environment where guests feel valued and inspired to explore our curated wine offerings. Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with wine selections based on their preferences and menu choices Maintain knowledge of our wine list, including regions, varietals, and tasting notes. Serve wine professionally, ensuring proper glassware handling and presentation standards are met Upsell premium wines and promote special offerings to enhance guest satisfaction and sales Manage wine inventory, including stock rotation, and proper storage to ensure quality standards Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations during all serving activities Skills Proven experience in restaurant service, fine dining, or food industry roles with a focus on wine service Familiarity with POS systems. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and food handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests confidently and professionally Ability to upsell effectively while maintaining a positive guest experience Experience in banquet service, catering, or large event settings is a plus Basic cashiering skills including cash handling and transaction processing Culinary or meal preparation experience is advantageous for understanding food pairings Knowledge of food industry trends, menu planning, and culinary concepts is desirable Join us as a Wine Stewardess to bring passion, expertise, and vibrant energy into every guest interaction.
