We are honored to do this work by providing no-cost after school and summer programs so that families can work towards self-sustainability.Position Summary:
The Women's Fellowship Teacher provides Christ-centered discipleship to the women of Restoration Atlanta. This role helps residents experience healing, restoration, and personal growth through biblical guidance, prayer, and compassionate care while addressing the challenges of homelessness, trauma, and life transitions.Key Responsibilities:
Spiritual Discipleship & Development:
Create a welcoming and joyful environment that reflects Christian love and hospitality. Lead weekly Bible-based fellowship gatherings for women on Monday nights. Teach Scripture in a clear, encouraging, and theologically sound manner. Help residents develop healthy coping strategies and hope through faith. Empower and mentor women in their walk with Christ, encouraging them to grow spiritually and lead effectively within their roles as women and/or mothers.Creative & Community Development:
Facilitate interactive sessions that promote open discussion, spiritual growth, and personal development among women of diverse backgrounds. Lead the women in other arts and crafts, gardening or other hands-on, creative activities during fellowships.Administration:
Collaborate with the Executive Director on resident needs and concerns. Monitor attendance, gather participant feedback, and make improvements as needed. Manage Fellowship budget, supplies, and logistics responsibly and efficiently.Qualifications:
Experience in pastoral ministry, counseling, or chaplaincy. Experience working with homeless populations, trauma survivors, or women in crisis. Training/experience in trauma-informed care strongly preferred.Pay:
