HAVE WORKERS' COMPENSATION EXPERIENCE IN A LAW FIRM
The Opportunity A growing California-based law firm with offices in Encino, Oakland, Riverside, and Palm Desert is seeking a Workers' Compensation Case Manager in our Hemet office. We have an opening for a Jr Case Manager, Case Manager, or Senior Case Manager based on experience in workers' compensation law. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in building and shaping a department from the ground up. Position Overview The Case Manager will work directly with attorneys and staff to manage a caseload of workers' compensation files from intake through resolution. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent client communication. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain workers' compensation case files under attorney supervision Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, and attorneys Track deadlines, appointments, and case progress to ensure timely movement of files Request, review, and organize medical records and documentation Maintain accurate and up-to-date case notes and file records Assist with case strategy preparation and general administrative support Qualifications Minimum 1+ year of experience handling Workers' Compensation files Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional, friendly, and team-oriented demeanor Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision Experience with case management software is a plus Ideal Candidate Highly organized and proactive Strong communicator with excellent follow-up skills Comfortable handling a high-volume caseload Adaptable and solutions-oriented Motivated to grow with a developing office and team
