Worship Childcare Worker

Responsibilities Supervise children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, during worship sessions and special events Implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and spiritual growth Maintain a safe environment by adhering to all safety protocols and conducting regular room checks Assist with diapering and comforting children as needed Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's needs or concerns Manage behavior with positive reinforcement techniques to foster respectful and cooperative conduct Plan engaging lessons that support childhood faith formation Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies First aid certification and ability to respond swiftly in emergency situations Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong caregiving skills for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children Ability to create a nurturing environment that encourages learning through play and interaction Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of children while supporting families in their faith community.
