Create your own schedule (no weekends or holiday call) Company Overview Midwest Wellness and Wound Care is a leading provider of comprehensive wound management services across Oklahoma. We partner with home-health agencies, long-term care facilities, and outpatient clinics to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care that drives optimal healing and improves quality of life. Position Overview We're seeking dedicated Wound Care Nurse Practitioners to join our team as independent contractors. Create your own schedule—providing advanced wound care with no weekend or holiday call. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive wound evaluations (size, depth, tissue type, exudate,periwound condition). Develop and update evidence-based wound care plans per current clinical guidelines. Apply advanced modalities including negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT),advanced dressings, biologics, and debridement techniques. Monitor for infection and adjust treatments as necessary. Practice under a collaborative agreement with supervising physicians, per Misouri scope-of-practice regulations. Educate patients and caregivers on wound-care techniques, nutrition, and pressure-injury prevention. Accurately document all patient encounters and treatments in our EMR system. Ensure strict adherence to state regulations, CMS guidelines, and agency policies. Required Qualifications Active NP license in Pauls Valley, OK with prescriptive authority National NP certification (ANCC or AANP) BLS certification Minimum 1 year of wound-care experience preferred (prior experience as a medical-surgical nurse or ICU nurse will be considered) Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within assigned metro areasCompensation & Contract Details Pay:
Up to $200,000 annualized (1099 fee-for-service)Schedule:
