Traveling Superintendent -

Ground-Up VA Clinic Project Location:

Cheyenne, WY (Travel Required) We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead field operations for a ground-up Veterans Affairs (VA) Clinic project in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This individual will join the project approximately two months into construction and serve as the primary on-site leader responsible for driving project execution through completion. The ideal candidate is a confident field leader who can successfully coordinate subcontractors, maintain strong client relationships, proactively address challenges, and ensure the project remains on schedule. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of project outcomes, and can work independently while collaborating closely with project management and operations leadership. This position offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact on a high-profile project while joining a growing contractor with a strong backlog of future work.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary field leader for an active ground-up commercial construction project Manage and coordinate daily subcontractor activities and site operations Develop and maintain 2-week, 3-week, and 6-week look-ahead schedules Monitor project quality, safety, productivity, and schedule performance Partner with the Project Manager and Master Scheduler to achieve project milestones Facilitate subcontractor coordination meetings and site logistics planning Review construction documents and identify potential conflicts or issues before they impact the schedule Maintain strong client relationships and represent the company professionally on-site Ensure project documentation, reporting, and communication are properly maintained in Procore Drive accountability among subcontractors and field personnel Anticipate upcoming challenges and proactively develop solutions to keep work progressing

Qualifications:

Must Have 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects Ground-up construction experience Experience leading projects from framing through closeout Strong understanding of look-ahead planning and scheduling Procore experience Willingness to travel and work on remote project sites Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cheyenne, WY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $55.29/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
