Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract Step into a vital role in the field of diagnostic imaging, utilizing your expertise as an X-ray Technologist to support patients and healthcare teams over a 13-week contract assignment. This position focuses on delivering high-quality radiologic services while working with advanced imaging equipment in a dynamic medical environment.

Schedule:

5 shifts per week 8-hour evening shifts, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm

Qualifications:

Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Radiography certification (ARRT(R)) Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Proven experience operating X-ray imaging systems safely and efficiently Knowledge of radiation protection standards and infection control protocols Ability to interact compassionately and effectively with patients and clinical team members

Key Responsibilities:

Perform quality radiographic examinations according to physician orders Ensure correct positioning and exposure factors to achieve diagnostic results Properly identify images and maintain accurate records within the imaging system Uphold radiation safety standards for patients, staff, and self Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns to promote comfort and cooperation Support continuous quality improvement by following policies, reporting issues, and contributing to a positive work environment
