Full-Time Xcel & Pre-Team Coach Sunrise Gymnastics About Us Sunrise Gymnastics is a family-oriented gymnastics program in Vermont built on teamwork, hope, joy, and second chances. We are currently seeking a passionate, dependable, and positive Full-Time Xcel & Pre-Team Coach to join our growing team. Position Overview This position will primarily focus on: Xcel Team Program Pre-Team Development Program We are looking for someone who enjoys working with developing athletes and can create a structured, encouraging, and motivating training environment. The ideal candidate is energetic, patient, organized, and team-oriented, with a strong understanding of gymnastics fundamentals and athlete development. Responsibilities Coach Xcel and Pre-Team athletes safely and effectively Build strong gymnastics fundamentals, confidence, and discipline Create engaging lesson plans and progressions Attend competitions and events as needed Communicate professionally with athletes, parents, and staff Help maintain a positive and supportive team culture Assist with athlete evaluations and movement between programs Support overall gym operations and teamwork when needed Qualifications Required Gymnastics coaching experience Strong understanding of artistic gymnastics fundamentals Positive attitude and strong communication skills Ability to work afternoons/evenings and occasional weekends Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Preferred Experience coaching Xcel and/or developmental programs USAG certification (or willingness to obtain) Spotting experience CPR/First Aid certification Choreography experience is a plus Compensation & Benefits Typically range from $40,000-$55,000 annually based on experience and qualifications Equivalent hourly range approximately $26-$32/hour Additional meet pay provided Professional development opportunities Supportive and family-oriented work environment Opportunity for long-term growth within the program Relocation assistance may be considered for the right candidate Schedule Full-time Afternoon and evening hours Some weekends required during competition season Location Barre, Vermont Why Join Sunrise?
