What You'll Accomplish Build and Inspire Your Team Partner with HR to handpick top talent and craft personalized onboarding experiences Develop future leaders through ongoing coaching, goal-setting, and meaningful career conversations Create a culture of accountability where every team member knows their impact and feels recognized for their contributions Design forward-thinking staffing strategies that position your operation for growth Drive Operational Excellence Own the metrics that matter—cycle count accuracy, on-time departures, load precision, and efficiency gains Lead lean initiatives and implement best practices that set the standard across locations Master inventory controls through smart cycle counting and streamlined processes Step in to support dispatch operations, ensuring seamless daily execution Champion Safety & Compliance Collaborate with your Safety Committee to elevate safety culture and develop engaging quarterly programming Ensure 100% OSHA and MDOT compliance while fostering a zero-incident environment Make safety a cornerstone of team development and operational success Enhance Customer Experience Bridge communication gaps between teams to deliver exceptional service Lead initiatives that prevent issues before they happen Turn customer feedback into actionable improvements What You Bring 2+ years of supervisory or dispatch experience (building materials industry strongly preferred) DOT and OSHA compliance expertise you can apply from day one Proven leadership abilities with a track record of developing people and managing customer service operations Tech-savvy approach with MS Teams, Office 365, and ERP systems (Spruce or similar) High School Diploma required Valid Driver's License required, Chauffer's License or CDL a plus. The Environment This role offers the best of both worlds—strategic desk work combined with hands-on yard activities. You'll be moving, engaging with your team on the floor, and leading from the front. Physical capability to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs required. Ready to lead a team that drives results?
