Youth Leader

YOUTH MINISTER JOB DESCRIPTION

The Youth Minister is responsible for leading, discipling, and nurturing the spiritual growth of middle school and high school students. This role focuses on building Christ-centered relationships, teaching biblical truth, equipping students for discipleship, and partnering with parents and the broader church to raise up mature followers of Jesus and helping the church to fulfill our mission of "Being Christlike in Leading Generations to Be Like Christ". The Youth Minister will work closely with the Family Minister and the Senior Pastor to help disciple the young people of the congregation and community.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide biblically faithful, engaging teaching for youth gatherings, small groups, and special events
• Disciple students toward spiritual maturity through mentoring, prayer, and accountability
• Model a growing personal relationship with Christ and a life consistent with Christian values
• Plan and lead weekly youth meetings, Bible studies, and special events
• Organize retreats, camps, mission trips, and service opportunities
• Involve students in church-wide missions, outreach, and service efforts
• Actively engage all youth in different ways each semester and summer.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least two years of experience in student specific ministry
• Relational, energetic, and approachable.
• A servant-leader who empowers others to lead and build God's Kingdom.
• A mature, Spirit-filled believer with a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE

Monday to Thursday 9- 4 pm ; Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings.
