Youth Pastor

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Pastor to inspire, mentor, and lead young members of our faith community. In this vital role, you will create engaging programs that foster spiritual growth, provide guidance during pivotal life moments, and build a supportive environment where youth feel valued and empowered. Your leadership will help shape the next generation by combining biblical teachings with practical life skills, all while nurturing a vibrant and inclusive church family. Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic youth programs, events, and activities that promote spiritual development and community engagement Provide mentorship and Christian counseling to youth facing personal or spiritual challenges Lead weekly youth group meetings, Bible studies, and special events that encourage active participation and faith exploration Support youth through significant life events such as grief, loss, or personal crises by offering compassionate bereavement support and hospice care guidance when appropriate Collaborate with parents, church staff, and community organizations to create a supportive network for young people Plan fundraising initiatives to support youth programs and outreach activities Foster an environment of open communication, ensuring youth feel heard, respected, and motivated to grow in their faith Requirements Proven experience in teaching, mentoring, or leading youth within a faith-based setting Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate young people Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with children, teens, parents, and community partners Knowledge of Christian counseling principles and practices related to social work and emotional support Experience in event planning and organizing youth activities or retreats Compassionate approach to working with children facing various personal challenges including bereavement or hospice care situations Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating initiative and independence Join us in making a meaningful difference by guiding our youth on their spiritual journey.
