32707 ALA accredited Masters required: No The Youth Services Librarian plans and presents developmentally appropriate library programming for children, tweens, and teens. Provides community outreach that connects library customers to information, resources and services. The library professional delivers information services (reference and readers advisory) to customers, using reference research technology and tools. Promotes and delivers early literacy training and mentoring for parents, and caregivers. Salary will be determined depending on qualifications of candidates who exceed the minimum requirements as outlined within the job description.

Education/Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Library Science from an American Library Association accredited college or university, or active enrollment in an MLS program. MLS specialization in library youth services required.
