This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with developmental disabilities, dementia, or memory impairments. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in promoting independence, safety, and well-being through attentive assistance and engaging companionship. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor vital signs and observe health changes to ensure resident safety and report concerns promptly Provide compassionate Alzheimer's and dementia care by implementing memory-enhancing activities and behavior management techniques Support residents during meal preparation, feeding, and hydration to promote proper nutrition and hydration levels Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas and ensuring infection control protocols are followed Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of long-term care practices including resident's (personal preferences) and individual care plans Hands-on experience with vital signs monitoring, medication administration, dementia care, and behavior management techniques Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation of resident care activities Demonstrated ability to handle caregiving responsibilities with compassion, patience, and professionalism Join our team to provide heartfelt care that truly makes a difference!
